SENIOR DATA ANALYST OFFICER
DEPARTMENT: Risk Management.
TOTAL NUMBER: 01.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Data Collection and Analysis:
– Gather, clean, and organize data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
– Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies relevant to risk assessment.
– Interpret complex data to provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes.
2. Reporting and Visualization:
– Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand reports, charts, and graphs using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
– Automate reporting processes to deliver timely and accurate insights to the organization.
– Maintain risk reports.
– Generate regular reports and ad-hoc analyses to support business decision-making.
3. Data Cleansing and Validation:
– Ensure data integrity by performing data validation and quality checks.
– Support governance and amendment of scripts, procedures and jobs across departments who are utilizing Data Warehouse.
– Work with data engineering teams to resolve data quality issues and improve data collection processes.
4. Others:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams & related parties to gather relevant data and insights.
– Stay abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies in risk management and data analysis.
JOB REQUIREMENT
– Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, economics, computer Science, or related discipline.
– 2+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, or a related field, preferably in banking or financial sectors.
– Experience with statistical methods, and data visualization tools.
– Good understanding of Data Warehouse/ Data Mart/ Database practices.
– Proven experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL.
– Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
– Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
– Strong analytical skill, interpersonal, and communication skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and understandable manner.
– Ability to practice logical reasoning and independent thinking in supporting management’s decision making.
– Good written and spoken English.
